Our Founder

Princess Olanrewaju Osibote is a woman whose life has been defined by one unwavering conviction: that every human being deserves dignity, love, and opportunity. Born with a servant's heart, she has channelled her professional expertise, personal resources, and boundless energy into one of Nigeria's most impactful charitable foundations.

Her journey began in healthcare, where she served as a professional within the National Health Service in the United Kingdom. It was during this time that she witnessed first-hand the critical importance of early intervention, trauma care, and community support in transforming lives — lessons she would later bring back to Nigeria.

The Beginning: Returning to Nigeria with a vision and a purpose, Princess Osibote founded the Margaret Modinat Foundation in honour of those who had been left behind by society. She had seen too many people — women, children, the elderly, the traumatised — fall through the cracks of a system that was not built to catch them.

Education: A lifelong learner, Princess Osibote's educational background spans healthcare and business management. She believes strongly that knowledge, like opportunity, must be shared — which is why education is central to the foundation's programmes.

Professional Career: Beyond the foundation, Princess Osibote is a successful entrepreneur and community leader. As CEO of Lasibote Nig Ventures and BURTON Logistics, and as a board member of Taslimotis Investment Limited, she demonstrates that business acumen and social conscience are not mutually exclusive.

Her recognition as a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International — awarded multiple times — speaks to the depth and breadth of her service. As a member of the Rotary Club of Omole Golden, she embodies the Rotary motto: "Service Above Self."

"I started this foundation because I believe that none of us should rest comfortably while our neighbour suffers. Our responsibility to each other is not a burden — it is a privilege."

Under her leadership, the Margaret Modinat Foundation has run over 48 programmes, hosted annual events including Children's Day celebrations, Secret Santa outreaches, and medical clinics, and has directly impacted thousands of lives across Lagos and beyond.
